The Indians were in a battle of two undefeated teams on Thursday night at Highland Lanes. The Wildcats of Blanchester came in at a 7-0 clip from the SBAAC Conference, while your Indians were undefeated at 6-0. It was definitely a good early season non conference match up between two very good teams.
They were up for the challenge, shooting a very nice team game of 1007 in game 1 taking a 60 pin lead into game two. That’s where the boys really put the hammer down, bettering their first game, with a 1075 in game 2, taking a 255 pin lead into the baker portion of the match. Did they let up? No, sir, shooting games of 215, 224, and 191 for a baker set of 630. Ending the night with a total of 2712 and earning their 7th victory by a margin of 394 pins.
Scoring for the Indians. They were led by Porch Player Of The Week, Camden Lively’s 272,239, 511 two game series. This kid, over the past week, has been on fire at practice. He had games of 257, 289, and 264 for a 810 three game series, in the last couple of days. Again, can you say, “En Fugeo.” They had solid performances from all the boys. Steven Rodgers had a 429 series, and Jay Reno’s 413 series, Austin Huff’s 368 series, and Cylas Everetts 361 series, round out the scores. We’re very proud of all of you. Way to step up.
The Indians improve their record to 7-0 on the season.
